PETAR SIBINOVIC

Petar Sibinović (b. 1986, Valjevo) is a sculptor based in Belgrade. He holds a PhD in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. In his practice, he approaches sculpture as a process of material and conceptual transformation, focusing on recycled and industrial materials as well as on the use of contemporary fabrication technologies, including digital modeling, 3D scanning, CNC machining, and 3D printing.
He has realized more than twenty solo exhibitions and participated in over fifty group exhibitions in Serbia and internationally. He is the recipient of numerous awards in the fields of sculpture, drawing, and painting. His works are included in significant museum, institutional, and private collections, as well as in public space.
By combining physical modeling with digital tools and technological experimentation, he explores the relationship between the organic and the constructed, the natural and the artificial, positioning sculpture as an open process and a field of research.
